Jump to Hyperspace with Propel!
Have you ever dreamed of taking a turn at the helm of an X-wing? Or have you given yourself to the Dark Side, and wished you could bring the fight to the Rebel scum? Now you can, with the new quadcopters from Propel! Propel has released a line of Star Wars drones, made to be exact replicas of those seen in the movies! You can choose an X-wing, the Millenium Falcon, Darth Vader’s TIE fighter, or the 74-Z speeder bike seen in Return of the Jedi. Drones for kids are on the list of 2016 top Christmas toys.
Now, these aren’t your regular quadcopters. They were designed with the propeller on the bottom of the craft, made out of translucent material. This means that while they’re up in the air, you won’t have to worry about seeing the propeller, only a TIE fighter soaring through your living room. It also allows these ships to hit up to 40 MPH! All of them, except for one, that is. The Millennium Falcon model can fly up to 50 MPH, and make the Kessel Run in 12 parsecs. And with the push of a single bottom, your ships can perform 360 degree tricks and maneuvers, just like their big-screen counterparts! These are the coolest Star Wars toys since the BB-8 droid.
Sure, being able to fly the ships themselves is pretty neat. But can they do anything else? OF COURSE THEY CAN! The flying fighters are designed for aerial battles of 24 different participants! It’s all done through lasers, just like the movies.
The ease of use, durability, and just pure childhood wish-fulfillment that is each of these official Star Wars drones is enough to make them a perfect gift! And for the Padawan Learners out there, remember, not even Luke could pilot his X-Wing alone, so make sure to have adult supervision.
The 2016 UAVs are priced between $200 and $300. Pre-order the “special edition” drones from Propel’s website for shipping by the end of the year – just in times for the Christmas holidays!
