PlayStation VR should not be used by children under 12
The PlayStation VR is priced at $399 and coming in October 2016 – just in time to make the list of top christmas toys for gamers. Discover a new world of virtual reality gaming with the new PlayStation. The PSVR is designed to be functional with the PlayStation 4 video game system. The $500 PlayStation VR Launch Bundle comes with a headset, a PlayStation Camera, two Move controllers, and a PlayStation Worlds game disc. Five games are included: Scavenger’s Odyssey, The Luge, The London Heist, Into the Deep and Danger Ball. Sony has come forward to say that its VR headset “is not for use by children under age 12.” Other VR Headsets for 2016 include the Oculus, Vive, or Gear VR.
The PlayStation VR headset features glowing led panels and swish lines. It is balanced, comfortable, and completely adjustable. The headset can be modified to ensure the lenses are the correct distance for a clear picture by tightening the whole unit and it is possible to wear glasses at the same time. The VR headset sports a 5.7-inch screen with a resolution of just 1920×1080 and connects to the PlayStation by HDMI or USB.
PlayStation VR controllers feature glowing LED balls on the end of each baton, which are picked up in a real space by the PlayStation Camera. Each Move controller features a gyroscope, an accelerometer and a magnetic field sensor inside. All standard PlayStation 4 games can be played in a “cinematic mode” that simulates a five-meter screen within a virtual space.
The PSVR headset is priced at $400.00 (available for pre-order) and will launch in October 2016. There will be 50 virtual reality games at launch. Bookmark this page for updates on the rumoured PlayStation 4.5 (4K).
